In an increasingly urgent context of the fight against pollution, and especially against POPs (persistent organic pollutants), the initiative to produce a book like this was born. It has attempted to explain, with the utmost rigor, a very complex problem that too often goes unnoticed. Without a dissemination task aimed at all generations, it will be very difficult to create awareness to solve a problem that increasingly affects more people around the world.
