Little Story of Sóller Train

This Little Story travels to Majorca to discover the area around the historic and still active Sóller Train. In this case, Pilarín Bayés’ illustrations accompany the text by the Balearic journalist and writer, Sebastià Bennasar.

«João was on the Palma station platform in Majorca, waiting for the train to Sóller, and he was restless. “Papa, are there many tunnels on the train ride?” “I think so. You have to remember that the town of Sóller is on the other side of the Sierra de Alfabia, which forms part of the Sierra de Tramuntana, and that trains normally go through mountains, not over them. Do you want to know how many there are exactly?”»

Thus begins this new Little Story, which travels to Majorca to discover the area around the historic and still active Sóller Train.
